Pittsburgh To Host Steel Buildings Construction Conference

The 2011 North American Steel Construction Conference will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center – the world’s first “green” convention center - in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania May 11-14.  The North American Steel Construction Conference is the premier educational event for structural engineers, fabricators, detailers, educators, and others involved in the design and construction of fabricated steel buildings, pre-engineered metal buildings and bridges.

Olympia Steel Buildings Saves the Day for Keystone Foam Manufacturing

On August 2nd of 2007, a massive fire destroyed a 160,000 sq. ft. family owned manufacturing facility in a small town east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. One hundred firefighters from 12 companies in Westmoreland County, PA battled the blaze. Thankfully no one was injured and the company set-up a temporary workplace within weeks of the disaster. The fire may have destroyed the building and its contents, but not the spirit of the owner and his drive to succeed.
